My great nephew, Jesse, was at home asleep at the time Daddy passed. Our family lives on the same property in their own house. My nephew, NAME, has a small house just down the long driveway from my parents. There is a workshop next to Jesse’s house.
So, as I said, Jesse was at his home sleeping at the time. He dreamed that he and his Dad were changing the oil in a vehicle at the workshop. Jesse went to get some gloves to keep the oil off his hands. He reached into the box of gloves and got a pair, but when he put them on, two fingers were missing from each glove. And so it was for every pair he pulled out of the box: each had two fingers missing.
When Jesse left the shop and walked outside, he saw my Daddy walking up the hill toward NAME’s house. He called to him, and Daddy stopped and turned toward him. Jesse said, “Pawpaw, where are you going?”
Daddy said , “I’m going home.“
Jesse said, “Okay, but you’re going the wrong way. Your house is in the other direction.”
Daddy said, “I’m not talking about that home. I’m finished with it. Y’all take care of your Mawmaw and Tim, and I’ll see you later.“
Jesse said, “Ok. We will!” and Daddy continued walking up the hill.
When Jesse returned to the shop, he pulled out several pairs of gloves from the same box as before, but this time, they all had 5 fingers in them.
We wondered why the two fingers were missing from the first ones. My niece, Sundy thought about it and said, “Maybe, since Pawpaw told Jesse that he was finished with that, it was to show us as a sign of completion, that his work here was finished and complete.”
Note: Daddy passed yesterday morning at 1:33 AM . My nephew, Jesse, awoke from the dream at 1:45 AM.
You can be skeptical. But I fully believe that this was a message of comfort to us from The Lord.
