I had something happen that was so funny and SOOO NOT funny it’s hard to reconcile how I feel about it..
Listening to the News about Lindsay Clancy and what she did to her children, I remembered a song that was VERY popular in the 1970s. Two lines kept replaying in my head.
It took me a little while to remember the name of the song, but finally, I went to YouTube and searched for “When Is He Coming Again“.
The first song that popped up in the search results was, “HE’S ALREADY ON HIS WAY“.
🤣 😱 🤣 😱
I thought, “Welp! There are 3 possibilities of how that will go.”
1. If I don’t have much time left on Earth, I’ll see my children and family again someday! 🪽
2. I’ll be seeing all my loved ones when we gather in the air soon! ☁️
3. I’ll still be laughing at God’s GREAT sense of humor whose Grace appears even in the sacred or most difficult moments!

That may seem like such a small thing, but to me, it was a profound reminder that joy always follows the darkness.
“…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 KJVIt was because of Clancy that I remembered that song from the 1970s.
The two lyrics that kept repeating in the back of my mind after hearing about those precious Clancy babies were
“Blood flowed like water today in the street, Brother fighting his brother.”
“When parents turn children away from their door, that’s when he’s coming for me.”
It seems I remember hearing it sung back then by Tim Davis (The Davis Trio) and Rhonda Vest (Douglasville COGOP). What I wouldn’t give for a recording of each to have now!
Click here to hear The Rambos’ rendition which was written by Dottie Rambo in 1971.
Final note. The Rambos was one of my parents’ favorite groups.
